Whether you are a home owner, an administrator or a landscaping professional, the first step is to learn about responsible landscaping. Explore existing resources available on this website and at the Sawtooth Botanical Garden GoNative Information Center, sign up for workshops and lectures. Inquire about the Master Naturalist and Master Gardener training. Stop by the Sawtooth Botanical Garden between Ketchum and Hailey and stroll through the native gardens. Topical lectures and demonstrations will be scheduled throughout the year. So keep posted and sign-up.
There are many volunteering opportunities in the Wood River Valley at the Sawtooth Botanical Garden (SBG) and with other partnering agencies. Put on your gardening gloves and adopt a garden. Join in the nurturing of SBG's thematic gardens: Sage, Alpine, Montane, Riparian, Lava Rock, and Xeriscape. Volunteer at the Wood River Land Trust, ERC, Nature Conservancy, and our other Go Native partners on exciting projects that enhance the health of our local ecology.
Energize and support the Go Native Project by becoming a member of our partnering agencies. Help them enhance the beauty and health of our precious natural environment.
Are you the owner of land? Transform your landscape, or part of it, into a self-sustaining native landscape that requires less watering, mowing, pruning and overall maintenance energy. You will find information to help you with your undertaking on this website.
